P-38J Lightning Internal Review

Hello and welcome to the second part of my P-38J Lightning review. This review will be over the internal box (parts, decals, and instructions).  Here is a photo of the box as you open it up.

Parts:
Here is the black and clear molded parts.

The main bag has all the parts that have no color molded on them. On the box it does say it is suppose to be molded in silver, but they are just normal plastic color. One thing to watch out for is that there is a loose piece in the bag.

The designers did a good job of adding rivets on all the surfaces.

There is 118 parts in total:
Black:36
Clear: 18
Gray: 64

Pros:
Liked the rivets on the parts
Liked how the parts were detailed.
Cons:
Disliked how there was a small loose part ready to get lost.
Disliked how the parts were not molded in silver like the box said.

Instructions:

The instructions are very good. They have nice background of the P-38J Lightning. The tips section has some very good tips. I like how they have the list of parts and what they are in the plane.

They also have sections about where to sand.

Instructions pro's and con's:

Pro's:
Liked how they had the names of the parts.
Liked how they told you were to sand.

Con's:
Disliked how they didn't tell you what color to paint the outside of Major Bong's version and the Pathfinder.

Decals:

The decal's are waterslide decals.

Pro's:
Liked that they are organized by plane.

Con's:
None

Overall they organized the parts well. Decals and instructions were very good.
Thank you for reading and see you next review.
